Hello everyone!

And yes, I AM still alive, contrary to popular belief. I went to my first-ever anime con last April. I don't think I've had so much fun in one weekend! It was MTAC Ninja (Middle Tennessee Anime Convention)
I went with , , , and some other friends.

The FanFic panel was great, I learned a lot of helpful tips from the presentation. It was also an honor to even BE IN THE SAME ROOM as some of the veteran fanfic authors there. And then we mused over AMVs and cosplay for no particular reason.

In the dealer's room of awesomeness, I bought the live action Death Note movie (I lost it... can't find it now... ), a buttload of Ouran Host Club stuff, and an Urahara pimp hat, which I now wear 24/7. I was also lucky enough to glomp a Renji cosplayer (albeit asking permission first).

But the best part? A Bleach vs. Naruto cosplay battle! I got some great pics of that! I didn't really cosplay, I just wore a pretty kimono I bought at DisneyWorld Japan. It's Black and blue with gold stitching... and really soft and comfy. I had to straighten my hair, 'cuz curly hair + kimono = epic fail. P:

I really want to cosplay now... I look a little like Haruhi Suzumiya, only less cute. My siter looks like Haruhi Fujioka to a "T". Wouldn't that be a funny duo?!
